Current Empties – June

I have used up a few things lately and thought I would share with you how they worked out for me and whether I will be repurchasing!

Bayliss & Harding – Anti-bacterial handsoap in Jasmine and Apple Blossom

I picked this up from Boots to use in the bathroom.  The scent is fresh with a slight sweetness but not overpowering.  The bottle size seems larger than the average liquid hand soaps so it did last a long time.  It’s good to find a nice smelling soap that is also anti-bacterial.  It didn’t dry out my hands either which some cheaper soaps do.  The price was also good!  I’d give this an 8/10

I really liked this soap and will definitely be picking up a replacement!

Garnier Express 2 in 1 eye-makeup Remover

This eye-makeup remover was brilliant.  It has the oil and water combination inside so you have to shake up the bottle before using it, to mix the two together.  It lasted a long time and is really effective, you need minimal rubbing to remove your eye-makeup.  I found that it does leave an oily residue behind which isn’t a deal breaker for me (I just cleanse my face all over afterwards) even though it says on the bottle that this doesn’t happen.  The price was great, and I will be picking up another once my current remover is empty ( which I like less 🙁  ) I would give this a 9/10

Vichy Purete Thermale Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil

As part of my skincare routine, the first step I do is use an oil cleanser to remove most of my makeup before I go in with a second cleanser.  Sometimes I use a facewipe if I am feeling a little lazy!

I like the scent of this oil, and found it very effective to use however the price seemed to be higher than other oils I have used and I didn’t find that it performed any better, so on that basis I will probably save the extra few pounds and stick with a cheaper alternative.  I would give this a 7/10

I hope you found these mini-reviews useful!

Have you tried any of these? what did you think?

Bye for now
