I have built my own quad which is perfect for doing my brows and base. If you want a closer look, keep on reading…
All of these shadows are by MAC and I have inserted them into one of their small quad palettes.
Gesso – the first shadow in the palette is a pure white, matte colour. Its opacity isn’t that intense and I mix this with brule as a brow bone highlight.
Omega – the second shadow in the palette is perfect for my brows. I don’t use this everyday but if I need a quick, soft brow look this is my go-to. I use it with an angled brush and stroke it through my brows. Its the perfect shade for my blonde brows as its cool toned and not ashy at all. I sometimes use this to run through the crease for subtle definition if I don’t want to use any other eyeshadow.
Soba – I use this colour to run through the crease or all over the lid and compliments my blue eyes. It is a subtle orangy/brown shade.
Brule – I get through this shade quickly and think this is my forth or fifth pan! it is the same shade as my skin colour and I use it as an all-over base. It makes blending out other shades a doddle if I use this first. I like to use this eyeshadow rather than a a typical face compact to use all over the eyes because I find the finish much nicer and it is very finely milled. As mentioned above, I mix this with Gesso to use at my brown bone for a subtle highlight.
Do you have a palette like this? what do you have in yours?
Bye for now
